Questions for the Classmates

1. What does the song make you think of?
2. What do you think John Lennon intended you to feel when you heard the song?
3. Why do you think it became as much of an anthem as it did?
4. What do you think "Integrations, mediations, United Nations, congratulations" means?
5. Why do you think John and Yoko chose to record their song in a hotel room with simple recording equipment as opposed to a more high-budget studio, which they certainly could have had?
6. What do you think John was thinking when he wrote this song?

    3. I think this song has become as much of an anther as it did because represents what people want to do about the Vietnam War.

    4. I think that Integrations, mediations, United Nations, congratulations
means that once these first three things happen America will be a better place and therefore has "congratulations".

    5. I think John and Yoko recorded their song in a hotel room rather than using better equipment as part of their stay-in peace protest.

    6. I think that John was thinking people should try to more open to things in general and that war is not good when he wrote this song.
